Problem you may meet when converting digital copy to Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, 2014 Ed

Description: One person’s own experience when converting digital copy to play on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, 2014 ED

I am using a windows computer to save movies to an SD card for viewing on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, 2014 Ed. Tablet. Software I used: ChewTune

The movies are the digital copies of purchased movies, which have been saved through Windows Media Player (wmv files). Following are the source and target settings being used:

Audio Codec                            WMA                                      wmav3
Audio Sample Rate                  48000                                     48000
Audio BitRate                         128000                                   128000
Audio Channels                        Stereo                                   Stereo
Video Codec                            VC-1                                     wmv3
Video size                            720*300                                  720*300
Video BitRate                         1800                                      2500
Video FrameRate                    23.976                                     30

Samsung gave me the following info: regarding the playback capabilities of the Samsung Hub Viewer:

Video Output: Full HD (1920 x 1080) @ 30fps
Video Codec: Mpeg4, H.264, H.263, VC-1, VP8, WMV7/8, Sorenson
Spark, MP43
Format: AVI, MP4, 3GP, MKV, WMV, ASF, FLV, WebM
Audio Codec: MP3, AAC/AAC+/eAAC+, WMA, Vorbis(OGG), FLAC,

When trying to play the movie, picture and sound quality are pretty good, but the viewer will randomly stop the movie, sometimes starting it on its own, sometimes requiring me to restart it. The settings that I used produced a file of about 2.3 GB, which is acceptable, and about as large as I want to go.

After sending the e-mail to support for help, I still do the test see if it works. After viewing 2 movies that I converted, it appears the problem disappeared (it seemed like the tablet worked out its issues with the format).  I also changed the target format, and a brief check of 2 movies showed no signs of the playback issues.  At this time, and until I have a chance to view more movies.
